Problem
Godot developers need to catch format, silence, clipping, and numbered-variant issues in WAV/OGG/MP3 packs before import and produce reusable resources.
Approach
Sound Pack Preflight scans a local audio pack before Godot import, groups numbered variants, and produces reports, manifests, and AudioStreamRandomizer resources to reduce manual checking.
Current boundary
- The browser demo supports WAV inspection, grouping, reports, and resource/license exports.
- The Godot addon works on project-local audio and does not upload files.
- It is currently a public validation release; anonymous behavior and price-interest data are validation signals, not a market-demand conclusion.
Results
The public validation build is live; browser scanning, report and manifest export, addon download, and anonymous validation endpoints passed production smoke.
Limitations
The current release validates a tool workflow and interest signals, not market demand; real Godot 4.6 editor execution still needs separate review, and the site does not upload audio.
